Motion Designer

Anymal is a fast-growing motion design and animation studio. We're in the early stages of our growth, and we're looking for a versatile, motivated person to join our small team. We want someone with a passion for design, illustration, animation and motion design. If you like communication, advertising and art in general, even better 👌

The person we're interested in is someone who's:

• Versatile. Our projects all have different audiences, and our visual approaches vary just as much. You need to be able to adapt to different styles and artistic directions.
• Creative and curious. What makes you tick? Who are your favorite artists? Your influences and inspirations? If we talk in an interview, this will be one of our questions, just so you know 😉
• Autonomous and resourceful. We're an agile team and we solve problems when we encounter them. Got a regular task that's taking up too much of our time? We make a template, write a script, buy software, and so on. Every problem has a solution, but the solutions start with the initiatives taken by people like you and us.

Anymal is:

A small company that works efficiently to deliver quality merchandise. You'll have the latitude to experiment, and challenges will abound. A wide variety of projects that give you artistic freedom. We've always worked remotely, so we know how to communicate effectively. You won't hit your nose 10 walls away from approval with us.

Anymal is not:

A big international agency. Our goal is to be efficient and flexible, to deliver a quality product for our customers and, at the end of the day, to have fun working on our projects. A place where everything is set in stone. As a relatively young company, we're still developing our foundations. We can teach you how we work, but if you've got something to offer, we'll listen.

Skills we're looking for:

• Be very comfortable with After Effects. That's where we animate almost everything. You'll be working mainly with 2D illustrations.
• Be comfortable with Illustrator and Photoshop and have a basic understanding of design.
• If you know a little Cinema 4D you get bonus points, but it's not required.
• Be well organized in your work and files.
• Good communication skills.

Job details:

• 3-month contract with possibility of extension thereafter.
